Work Appropriate

As a pharmacy student, we have work placements to complete as part of the course and this time round i opted for placement in a  rural NSW hospital. Of course the first thing that crossed my mind beside what makeup would I wear included, what nail polishes would be considered work appropriate!

Now being a uni student, i tend to get away with the occasional bright and bolder colours and i'm rather carefree with my colour choices when it comes to polishes. So when i was packing, some tough choices had to be made! After all, i had to make a good impression;)

These were what i came up with. I narrowed it down to 3 shades of what i considered neutral and work appropriate. I did manage to inject some colour but in a more subdued manner with the pink and lilac. The grey, i thought was a great choice as it just looks classy on short nails and goes with most work attire.

American Apparel L'Esprit, Sinful Colors Roses Dozen, Zoya Dove
What do you consider work appropriate colours?

  1. I'm also studying in the health field, and when we go on placements, nail polish is sort of 'looked down' upon. :( I think it's because we have to do physical examinations on patients etc.

On another note, that American Apparel nail polish is lovely. :) xx

  4. I'm also studying in the health field. We aren't allowed to have nail polish or long nails as we are constantly examining/treating patients. But if I could wear polish it would be OPI Coney Island Cotton Candy or Revlon Grey Suede.
