I finally got my hands on the Dolly Wink liner that's been raved about all over the beauty blogosphere. Once again Asian cosmetics brands blow me away with the packaging. So cute and girly, I admit i'm not a very girly girl but cant say no to a pink polka dotted eye liner rite ;)
Picked up a couple of single Mac shades, unfortunately Vex broke on me *heartbroken* and a few palettes i had been eyeing for eons. Overall very happy with my haul.

Holiday Haul: Part 2 Blushers & Highlighters

I can start this post by going on a rant about how us Aussies are totally ripped off when it comes to cosmetics but i shall not. I'm sure my fellow Aussie beauty lovers can vouch for that. Anyways, as Mac products are much more cheaper in Malaysia and Singapore, especially with the strong Aussie dollar, I managed to pick up a few new shades that i have always wanted.

I also decided to try out various Asian beauty brands as I've heard so much about them and have to admit, the packaging always sucks me in.

And of course, some high end beauty brands as they were a steal in duty free compared to what i would have to pay for them here. Boy was i happy to find the new Chanel blush from their spring collection in stock. It's simply stunning!

Holiday Haul: Part 1 Nail Polish

I have decided to break up my mahoosive holiday haul into categories, ie nails, lips, cheeks etc. So first up are the nail polishes. I am undoubtebly a nail polish junkie as much as a makeup junkie. So i did go a little polish crazy, but as they say when on holidays, all is forgiven. Actually that's what I say to justify my purchases.

I have to lament, what is up with the Asian beauty brands and not naming their polishes. Its all boring numbers, i mean come on how the hell am i gonna remember them. The packaging is adorable but no cute name to go with it, so slightly dissapointed there. Anyways stay tuned for a whole lot of NOTD's with my new babies:)

Black Friday Haul

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in America where there are massive sales in store and online. Of course i decided to take advantage of this day as some of the sales on offer were ridiculous. Example being TheBalm cosmetics, which i have been wanting to try for a very long time. I was thrilled to find that they ship internationally as many companies don't, so yay for TheBalm!!

I decided to pick up some of the blushers as i have seem many vloggers/bloggers rave about them as well as the infamous Mary-Lou Manizer highlight.

The packaging is so cute, very retro 50's inspired pictures.

Mary-Lou Manizer Luminizer, Frat Boy, Down Boy, Cabana Boy

Do you take advantage of the crazy Black Friday sales?

IMATS Haul + Swatches

I had previously been to IMATS last year, and wasn't too impressed. Namely because many of the big names weren't there and when you compared it to the IMATS in LA and London, it's pretty low key. This year, whole different story. Many more makeup brands were there namely Inglot, Mac and Illamasqua so I was looking forward to seeing them displaying their stuff. Plus I was there as part of the 85 strong ABBW team which made it all the more fun. Makeup with a whole bunch of beauty bloggers, can't get better than that rite!

Powdered Metal Ether, Cream Blusher Laid, Precision Ink Alchemy and Pure Pigment Marvel
First stop was Illamasqua. they were having insane discounts, most things were around AUD$10, so i went a little nuts.
Ether, Laid, Alchemy and Marvel

Prior to IMATS i had envisioned myself witha  new 10 pan Inglot palette. Ever since they increased their prices i have been put off by them, but i heard over twitter that they would be offering a 30% discount at IMATS and thought now's my chance to get my hands on some new shades. Of course everyone else had the same idea, so the lines were long and the wait was painful but i'm happy with the items i purchased.

Inglot lipsticks in 222 and 104

222 and 104

L to R: DS 463, Matte 327,337,344 and 354
L to R: AMC Shine 29, 35, 10, Pearl 413 and AMC 56

Finally, I picked up a few brushes, the Pod which is a beauty blender knock-off and a mini empty brush role. Overall I was happy with my purchases, might have gone a little over budget but can't do anything about that now;)

Separate to my haul, as part of the ABBW we were basically treated like VIPs, There was a mini mani/makeup/nibbles areas set up for us ladies to rest our poor feet from standing to long in the lines thanks to Royal & Langnickel. We also received a a mini brush roll from the lovely people from Royal & Langnickel which will come in handy for travelling. The people from Serge Louise Alvarez were also extremely kind to have a lucky dip of their makeup products. I managed to score myself a pretty goldie brown lipgloss. A massive thank you to the lovely sponsors for the wonderful gifts!!

What did you purchase at IMATS? Did you break the bank;)

Nail Polish Crazy

I have sinned once again, but this time I have a good excuse. This massive nail polish haul was an anniversary gift from the boyfriend so its justified ;)
I've been wanting to get my hands on a few of the new collections and he thought that would make a perfect gift. I couldn't say no could I? So I placed an order with beautyzone2007 . I have always purchased the bulk of my nail polishes from her and never had any issues. I do have to mention that My Essie nail polish in Sew Psyched did arrive broken with this order. But a quick email to her and she said she would send me a replacement asap. Also the shipping for this order took literally 5 days.AMAZING!!
I also had to pick up 2 SportsGirl nail polishes when I was browsing through the store, cause i'm a nail junkie like that!

Are We There Yet, Hot And Spicy, Mod About You

Trendsetter, Life Preserver, Westside Warrior, Brownstone

Ink, Bright Now, Too Too Hot, Carry On, Meet Me At Sunset
Can you tell I seem to have an obsession with coral colours;)

What have you been hauling lately?

Post Exam Goodies!

There's nothing like a little after exam haulin' to make u feel better. After a stressfull 2 weeks I was greeted by 3 packages that I had purchased during my exam period. Oh the joy of opening them up and swatching away!

My Cherry Culture haul that I purchased during one of their 20% off sales arrived with the new Nyx Matte lippys and some round lip-glosses .  The next day I received my Sleek order and the following day I received my eBay order with all the Wet n Wild stuff. It was like Christmas in August!

And the lovely boyfriend bought me the Lush Coco Lotion as a "please stop stressing so much, you will do fine in your exams" present. So sweet :)

I will be doing swatches of the lippys over the next few weeks so stay tuned.

Long Weekend Haulin'

I admit I am easily influenced by various bbloggers/youtubers when it comes to making beauty purchases. So when Lilit from Makeup and Macaroons mentioned that you could pick up China glaze nail polishes in Sydney for less than $10, my heart skipped a beat. I mentioned this to my lovely boyfriend and the minute I arrived at central from newy I dragged him to the city in search of  this wonderful place. Btw if your wondering this wonderful place im talkin about is SA Hair Supplies

Afterglow, Shocking Pink, Solar Power, Fifth Avenue, Your Touch, Avalanche

But wait, the hauling doesn't end there..nooo..I was reading Anita's blogpost about the new Cover Girl lippys that have just come to Australia.  It just so happens I passed by a Priceline on the way to SA beauty supply so obviously I had to go in, rite:)

Feline, Rapture, Darling
Priceline was having their Pink Dot sales and Bourjois was 50 % off everything. This was my chance to try out a few products as their usually really expensive for drugstore makeup.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation 55, Beige Elegant, Rose Corset

So that's my mini little haul...maybe I should stop watching/reading beauty blogs for a little while...what do you think?

Holiday Haulin'

Hi my name is Priyanka and I am a makeup junkie. Looking at all the things I have accumulated on just a week of holidays is ridiculous. I have lost the plot people, take my credit card and Internet connection away. I can only do more damage if I have them with me ;)
So this is what I have purchased in the past week while on holiday in Perth , browsing thru Priceline back in Sydney and to top it off my two eBay packages arrived in the same week. So yes I have gone nuts!!! I guess the only excuse I have is that I have been busy studying/surviving the past 12 weeks in pharm school so I deserved some retail therapy? trying to justify my excessive spending . Anyways lets take a look at the damage I've done *yikes*

This is all the stuff I purchased in Perth...what i'm really excited about is the Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation that I used the other night and I loved it..it makes your skin look all dewy and its just gorgeous..might just have to do a review on that. Also I purchased the Morrocan Oil travel pack as I have been interested in trying the products out for a while..so far not too impressed with the shampoos but loving the oil.

I was heaps excited when my eBay packages arrived during the week..I ordered the Mac stuff separately from all the other drugstore products. What I'm excited about is the Ever Hip l/s from the new Mac collection out in the US..gorgeous corally pinky colour. The other things are the two Hard Candy Fox in A Box blushers that are supposed to be dupes to the Benefit boxed blushers at a fraction of the cost.

And then, when I got back to Sydney I kinda went a little...ok maybe more than a little nuts in Priceline. The Revlon polishes were about AUD $9 so I had too? Looking at the colours now it looks like I'm getting ready for summer and the fact is its just started to get really cold in Australia but these colours make me smile so I guess I will be ready when summer roles on by:)

These are the other things I picked up at Priceline. A few bits n bobs and yes I did need more l/s go figure.

Finally I had to pop into Lush. I've just started getting into Lush so I decided to try out their hair masque and because I love anything with vanilla the Vanillary perfume just had to be mine...it smells divine.

I think I need therapy and not of the retail kind help me...but until then what have you been hauling lately?
